Adrift(USA TITLE:Open water II)
Easily the most emotionally draining film i have ever seen.
A group of friends jump off a boat and forget to put down the ladder.
An they cant get back up, so some drown, some get stabbed, and some get fatal injuries.
It amazing what this film puts you through!
Alien Vs. Predator
Non Stop Action, My Favorite ACTION Film Of All Time For Me, With Some Elements Of Horror.
I Dont Want To Give Away Anything But Alien Kicks Butt!
Aliens: More combat film than horror, this film really parts its ways, i mean sigourney weaver is in it and there is tons of aliens. But it doesnt have tha un-easy mood that the first one had so much. Dont get me wrong Aliens is a stunning film and is unforgettable.
Now get the 2-disc edition, it has a longer james cameron directors cut. And its packed with features.
An American Haunting:
Creepy, and really scary!
DO NOT WATCH ALONE!
It was advertised as a Exorcist Spawn, but its so much more story driven and crazy!
Alien(1979)
Scary! That one word can describe the mood, the pace and the setting of the film.
The directors cut rereleased in theaters in 2003, cuts some scenes to keep up pace, and adds some scenes to add scares.
Greatly done and the special features add up to hours and hours!
Black Christmas (1974)
Scary As All Hell!
Scarier Than The Exorcist!
Im always searching for a terrifying horror film, hard to find, sometimes.
But watching Black Christmas is a terrifying experience.
It tops Halloween (1978) with flying colours.
Ghost Rider:
I dont know what to say.
This film had its ups and alot of downs.
The acting and script was horrendous, im a fan of Eva and Nick, but it was like there were told to be cheesy and bad.
The action was real good at times, mostly the finale, but the transformations scenes were laughable.
If your goin' for comic book action, see it.
But if your expecting a Spider Man, prepare for dissapointment!
Black X-MAS (2006)
Cheesy, wierd and loads of scary and jolting fun!
Nothing like the original it doesnt really take it self to seriously, but i loved how they didnt try and top the original they would of failed.
The Descent:
Absolutly Disturbing!
It's so unexpected, it so original i didnt know that the british were so good at horror.
Keep 'em coming.
The Grudge 2:
OMG was this a laughfest.
Not scary, full of bad acting and i usually let that fly in a horror film, but wooooo.
Not anything like the jolting good time of the 1st movie or like any horror film you've seen.
DOOM:
Some call it a action film, but this is top notch hardcore horror.
Blood and guts go flying along with guns and some kung fu action!
House Of 1000 Corpses
A really screwed up trip into Rob Zombie's brilliant mind.
The film sets a mood in the first second. A little too wierd at the end it goes a little off track, and off mood. Check It Out and see its follow up The Devil's Rejects.
Fatal Attraction;
One of the best, non stop entertaining. Filmmaking at its best!
The Fog (2005)
A sometimes stylish thriller.
But sometimes when you think the film is picking it self up, it gets kicked back down by its direction.
Hard Candy:
A terrifying film, creepy and depressing.
It is like Fatal Attraction on Drugs!
The Hills Have Eyes 2:
Well Well Well, this is a true sequel if ive ever seen one.
HHE2 is a creepy, gory, shocking, jolt-a-thon! Scarier than the first. But the first is a better film in shock factor, and a different pace. But HHE2 ups the level of what 2007 horror needs to top.
The Hills Have Eyes (2006)
The Scariest Film in years!
And the best remake since the 05's House Of Wax.
House Of Wax (2005)
Paris Hilton, Elisha Cuthbert all running away from a wax pouring, blood splattering maniac, pure gold!
Jump scares galore, and gore a plenty.
A sure slumber party scream a thon!
A Nightmare On Elm Street (Infinifilm DVD):
The definitive Edition of this classic is finally here.
I already had a dvd of this but i took a risk and got this edition and im glad that i did.
It has great Remastered Picture and sound, great documentaries and a great infinifilm Presentation.
Get It!
The Return:
Wierd, creepy at times. But also very slow and sometimes hard to watch!
HANNIBAL RISING:
Screw the critics, this film is unforgettable and brilliant!
It nice to know the origin of our favorite psycho-path.
The film does start as a revenge flick, but as it progresses you see Hannibal really become what he is today.
See this film NOW!!!!
SliTHER:
Take a trip back to the drive-in, in the absolutely AWESOME
Horror/Comedy.
I dont like comedy mixed with horror, but this film makes you laugh well you cringing and jumping off your seat!
Pulse:
MTV does it again.
WELL AT LEAST TRIES.
Pulse is a dark, eerie remake of a japanese horror film.
It trys to be scary, but fails on alot of levels.
But there are still some good scenes. Alot of jolting scenes.
Defintetly worth a rental.
The Number 23:
Creepy and Wierd.
Its not the most original movie made, but it stands out in certain parts. I wouldnt rush to theater, i would wait for DVD.
Saw III:
A Big Bang Finish To One Of The Best Trilogys Since The Scream Films.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986)
A crazy, manic, funny wierdo of a movie.
Its full of comedy and guts.
Its not suppose to scare the hell out of you, like the original.
But its a true sequel!
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning:
Gore Galore, heart pounding scares and Intense as all hell.
Turistas: A very smart and fast paced killer thriller.
The film starts off with a bang and doesnt let up till the last minute!
The Thing Special Edition:
One of my all time favs has got the royal treatment, finally!
Although the remastered picture isnt the best ive seen.
The Exorcist's DVD picture still sticks in my mind.
But the special features were pretty darn cool with a trailer, a making of documentary, and outakes!
If you love the film GET IT NOW!
VENOM: Pretty Unoriginal, but a very fun and stylish horror film.
A for sure Rent!
The Wicker Man (2006)
Nicholas Cage shines in this movie and keeps it together.
But NO one could help the terrible ending.
Its not a great remake or the best movie of 06, but if you want to keep guessing till the end, you should rent it.
The Woods:
A fun time at the movies.
Well at least at home.
This movie got snubbed by movie studios and only got a straight to video release.
But that doesnt change how good this movie is.
Creepy,wierd and crazy!
